Korea Itinerary 5 to 7 Days for Families
Five to seven days is enough to see Seoul and one or two other regions at a family pace. Start with one of our multi-day routes, then add a short route if you have more days. Every route below is a starting point that we adjust to your dates, your group and the places you want to see.

5-day routes
Two routes that already fill five days, each with Nami Island and Seoul’s palaces:
- Busan to Seoul by train (5 days, 4 nights): Busan’s coast, a high-speed train to Seoul, Nami Island and Gyeongbokgung.
- Jeju and Seoul (5 days, 4 nights): Seongsan Ilchulbong and Jeju’s villages, flights to and from Jeju, then Seoul and Nami Island.
4-day routes to extend
Start with four days and add a short route to reach five to seven:
- Seoul and Incheon essentials (4 days, 3 nights): Nami Island, Gyeongbokgung, Everland and Incheon’s Chinatown.
- Busan and Seoul summer ideas (a 4-day route excerpt): Haedong Yonggungsa, Gamcheon, the beach train, Everland and Nami Island.
Add 1 to 3 days
Short routes that fit before or after a multi-day route:
- 1 day from Seoul: the Paju DMZ, or the Korean Folk Village in Yongin and Suwon’s Hwaseong Fortress.
- 2 days: Seoraksan and Sokcho with the Daegwallyeong sheep farm, or Jeonju Hanok Village with Naejangsan’s autumn leaves.
- 3 days: Jeju around the island.
Planning tips for families
Keep long transfers to one per day and plan rest time around the children’s and grandparents’ pace. A private car lets you stop when you need to, and a dedicated guide handles tickets and directions. Tell us everyone’s ages and interests, and we will suggest the order of regions and the number of nights in each.

Frequently asked questions
- Is 5 days enough for Korea with children?
- Yes, if you focus on Seoul and one other area. Our 5-day routes pair Seoul with Busan or Jeju, and both include Nami Island.
- Can we see Seoul, Busan and Jeju in 7 days?
- It is possible with the train and domestic flights, but it is a busy week. For families, two of the three with a short add-on such as the DMZ or Suwon is often easier.
- Can you adjust an itinerary for seniors and young children?
- Yes. Share everyone’s ages and any mobility needs, and we will plan the pace, walking distances and rest stops around them.
- How do we get a tailored itinerary and quote?
- Send us your dates, the number of travelers and the places you want to see. We reply with a tailored itinerary and quote within 1 business day.
